Following the sold out opening of the Los Angeles Italian Film Awards presentation of the delightful comedy "13 at a Table" starring Giancarlo Giannini at the Arclight Cinema in Hollywood, international filmmakers and film fans gathered at the nearby Fabiolous Cafe and enjoyed a special sneak preview of "McVicar Beer"
Festival President Luigi Campanile, and many honored guests enjoyed the Golden Pilsner and the Fine Amber Ale McVicar Beers. These European Beers were appreciated by this largely Italian crowd along with fine Italian wines, and a delicious dinner prepared "cucina especiale" at the Fabiolous Cafe.
With the ladies of the west on tap, and the McVicar girls pouring, fresh pilsner and ale was flowing to the hearts of the hundreds in attendance.
Daniel McVicar has created European style McVicar beer, inspired by his world travels and ancient family history. The actor, known worldwide from movies and television, in particular his work on "The Bold and the Beautiful" created the beer, Working with Michael Bowe, award winning brewmaster and owner of Angel City Brewing Company . Produced in a European styles McVicar Beer Ales and Pilsner are made in Southern California, and available locally. In the future, McVicar Beer will be available worldwide.
